Inset: "Alice" is a song written and performed by Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne for Almost Alice, the soundtrack to the 2010 film Alice in Wonderland. An extended version was released as a hidden track on Lavigne's fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby.
The song is a mid-tempo ballad sung from the perspective of the film's lead character, Alice. Lavigne wrote the song after asking Disney executives and film director Tim Burton if she could write a song for the film. The song was produced by Butch Walker and mixed by Lavigne's former husband Deryck Whibley. The music video opens with Lavigne following a white rabbit into a forest. As the piano in the soundtrack begins playing, the video briefly cuts to Lavigne's hands playing the notes on a piano. The video returns to Lavigne's character, who trips and falls into a hole near a large tree. Her fall is intercut with shots of Alice (from Burton's film) colliding with objects, including a piano. When Lavigne opens her eyes, she is lying at the bottom of a deep hole, dressed in a black gothic corset dress and stockings imprinted with playing card suits.
Avril Lavigne sings while sitting at the Mad Hatter's tea party, her "echo" appearing in the corner.
When Lavigne climbs out of the hole, she finds herself in Wonderland. The song enters the chorus, and the video cuts and dissolves between Lavigne's character running through the forest and Lavigne singing and performing the song on the piano. The only Wonderland character to make an appearance at this point is a fleeting glimpse of the Cheshire Cat.
She arrives at a tea party, and the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) stands, welcoming her with open arms. The scene is edited with footage of the Mad Hatter from Burton's film. As Lavigne sinks into a chair singing, her lyrical "echo" is visually emphasized with her face quickly dissolving in and out. As the verse ends, Lavigne stands and runs away from the scene. The chorus of the song returns to shots of Lavigne running through the forest, arriving at a piano surrounded by giant mushrooms. The video cuts between shots of Lavigne playing the instrument and singing, eventually showing Lavigne running through a misty copse of thin trees. Various scenes from the film are shown in succession, before Lavigne is reintroduced running toward an opening in the forest. As she exits the forest, she is dressed in her normal clothing.
Alice Lyrics
Tripping out
Spinning around
I'm underground, I fell down
I fell down
I'm freaking out
So where am I now?
Upside down
And I can't stop it now
It can't stop me now
I, I'll get by
I, I'll survive
When the world's crashing down
When I fall and hit the ground
I will turn myself around
Don't you try to stop it?
I, I won't cry
I found myself in Wonderland
Get back on my feet again
Is this real?
Is this pretend?
I'll take a stand until the end
I, I'll get by
I, I'll survive
When the world's crashing down
When I fall and hit the ground
I'll just turn myself around
Don't you try to stop me?
I, I won't cry
I, I'll get by
I, I'll survive
When the world's crashing down
When I fall and hit the ground
I will turn myself around
Don't you try to stop me?
I, I won't cry

"Hot" is a song by the Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne produced by Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, and is the third single from Lavigne's third album, The Best Damn Thing. During an interview at the 2007 MuchMusic Video Awards, Lavigne implied that she planned to shoot a video for the song, which premiered on Yahoo on October 5. She performed the song on the 2007 MTV Europe Music Awards and on the July 6 episode of The Friday Night Project. It was played on the fourth episode of season three of MTV's The Hills. A Japanese version of the song was released as a ringtone in Japan, with the Japanese lyrics replacing the chorus. In China, a Mandarin version of the song was released which replaced the chorus and the introduction with Mandarin lyrics. On YouTube, it has generated over 50 million views.Lavigne describes "Hot" as an up-tempo love song. The song is about Lavigne's feelings for a guy who "Makes Her Hot". The track's verses describe all the things Lavigne wants to do with the guy, while the chorus is about how he makes her feel.
The chorus is riotous display of her feelings, and she seems to release it all, yelling "You make me so hot!" "You make me want to scream!" The song structurally takes a dramatic turn during the bridge in which she drops the persona of being crazy in love to candidly tell her lover how real and raw her emotions are, aside from the public display: "Kiss me gently. Always, I know: Hold me; love me. Don't ever go."
Darryl Sterdan of JAM! compared the lyrics to Alanis Morissette and labelled them "steamy".
Hot Lyrics
Ah, ah ah
You're so good to me baby, baby
I wanna lock you up in my closet when no one's around
I wanna put your hand in my pocket because you're allowed
I wanna drive you into the corner and kiss you without a sound
I wanna stay this way forever I'll say it loud
Now you're in, and you can't get out
[Chorus]
You make me so hot
Make me wanna drop
It's so ridiculous
I can barely stop
I can hardly breathe
You make me wanna scream
You're so fabulous
You're so good to me baby, baby
You're so good to me baby, baby
I can make you feel all better, just take it in
And I can show you all the places you've never been
And I can make you say everything that you've never said
And I will let you do anything again and again
Now you're in, and you can't get out
[Chorus]
Kiss me gently
Always I know
Hold me, love me
Don't ever go
Ooh, yeah yeah

The video switches between those locations; Lavigne in the white room and in the city, the same theme recurring throughout the duration of the video.
Smile Lyrics
You know that I'm a crazy bitch
I do what I want when I feel like it
All I wanna do is lose control
But you don't really give a shit
You go with it, go with it, go with it.
'Cause you're fucking crazy rock'n'roll
[Pre-Chorus:]
You said "Hey,
What's your name? "
It took one look
And now I'm not the same
Yeah you said "Hey."
And since that day
You stole my heart
And you're the one to blame
[Chorus:]
(Yeah)
And that's why I smile
It's been a while
Since every day and everything has
Felt this right
And now you turn it all around
And suddenly you're all I need
The reason why I smile
Last night I blacked out I think
What did you, what did you put in my drink?
I remember making out and then, oh, oh
I woke up with a new tattoo
Your name was on me and my name was on you
I would do it all over again
[Pre-Chorus]
[Chorus]
[Bridge:]
You know that I'm a crazy bitch
I do what I want when I feel like it
All I wanna do is lose control
You know that I'm a crazy bitch
I do what I want when I feel like it
All I wanna do is lose control

ORIGINAL VIDEO : When You're Gone Lyrics :
I always needed time on my own
I never thought I'd need you there when I cry
And the days feel like years when I'm alone
And the bed where you lie is made up on your side
When you walk away I count the steps that you take
Do you see how much I need you right now
[Chorus]
When you're gone
The pieces of my heart are missing you
When you're gone
The face I came to know is missing too
When you're gone
The words I need to hear to always get me through the day and make it ok
I miss you
I've never felt this way before
Everything that I do reminds me of you
And the clothes you left, they lie on the floor
And they smell just like you, I love the things that you do
When you walk away I count the steps that you take
Do you see how much I need you right now
[Chorus]
We were made for each other
Out here forever
I know we were, yeah
All I ever wanted was for you to know
Everything I'd do, I'd give my heart and soul
I can hardly breathe I need to feel you here with me, yeah

Hey, hey, you, you, I don't like your girlfriend
No way, no way, I think you need a new one
Hey, hey, you, you, I could be your girlfriend

Don't you know what I can do to make you feel alright?
Alright, alright, alright
Don't pretend, I think you know I'm precious
And so yeah, I'm a hey, hey princess
I can tell you like me too and you know I'm right
I'm right, I'm right, I'm right
She's like so whatever
You could do so much better
I think we should get together now
And that's what everybody?s talking about
Hey, hey, you, you, I don't like your girlfriend

Hey, hey, you, you, I know that you like me
No way, no way, you know it?s not a secret
Hey, hey, you, you, I want to be your girlfriend
I can see the way, I see the way you look at me
And even when you look away I know you think of me
I know you talk about me all the time again and again
And again and again and again
So come over here and tell me what I wanna hear
Better yet, make your girlfriend disappear
I don't wanna hear you say her name ever again
And again and again and again
?Cause she's like so whatever
And she could do so much better
I think we should get together now
And that's what everybody's talking about
Hey, hey, you, you, I don't like your girlfriend
No way, no way, I think you need a new one
Hey, hey, you, you, I could be your girlfriend
Hey, hey, you, you, I know that you like me
No way, no way, you know it's not a secret
Hey, hey, you, you, I want to be your girlfriend
Oh, in a second you'll be wrapped around my finger
Woo, 'cause I can, ?cause I can do it better
There's no other, so when's it gonna sink in?
Hey, she's so stupid, just what were you thinking?
In a second you'll be wrapped around my finger
'Cause I can, ?cause I can do it better
There's no other, so when's it gonna sink in?
She's so stupid, just what were you thinking?
Hey, hey, you, you, I don't like your girlfriend

ORIGINAL VIDEO :
Wish You Were Here
I can be tough
I can be strong
But with you, it's not like that at all
There's a girl
who gives a shit
behind this wall
You've just walked through it
And I remember, all those crazy things you said
You left them riding through my head
You're always there, you're everywhere
But right now I wish you were here.
All those crazy things we did
Didn't think about it, just went with it
You're always there, you're everywhere
But right now I wish you were here
Damn, Damn, Damn,
What I'd do to have you
here, here, here
I wish you were here.
Damn, Damn, Damn
What I'd do to have you
near, near, near
I wish you were here.
I love the way you are
It's who I am, don't have to try hard
We always say, say like it is
And the truth is that I really miss
All those crazy things you said
You left them riding through my head
You're always there, you're everywhere
But right now I wish you were here.
All those crazy things we did
Didn't think about it, just went with it
You're always there, you're everywhere
But right now I wish you were here
[Chorus:]
Damn, Damn, Damn,
What I'd do to have you
here, here, here
I wish you were here.
Damn, Damn, Damn
What I'd do to have you
near, near, near
I wish you were here.
[Bridge:]
No, I don't wanna let go
I just wanna let you to know
That I never wanna let go
(let go let go let go let go)
No, I don't wanna let go
I just wanna let you to know
That I never wanna let go
(let go let go let go let go let go let go let go)
Damn, Damn, Damn,
What I'd do to have you
here, here, here
I wish you were here (I wish you were)
Damn, Damn, Damn
What I'd do to have you
near, near, near
I wish you were here.
Damn, Damn, Damn,
What I'd do to have you
here, here, here
I wish you were here.
Damn, Damn, Damn
What I'd do to have you
near, near, near
I wish you were here.
